Extracting ZIP files & Upload to Twitch

Emotes are packaged as a .zip file. You need to unzip the file prior to uploading them to Twitch.

Extract files from .ZIP

  • Windows: Right click .zip file and select ‘Extract All’ then select where to extract the files.
  • Mac: Double click .zip file. This will extract the files to a new folder matching the zip files name

Upload emote to Twitch

  • Go to your Twitch Creator Dashboard. On the left side, expand 'Viewer Rewards' then click on 'Emotes'
  • Click on an open slot under 'Animated Emotes'
  • Under 'Upload Emote' be sure to uncheck 'Auto-resize'
  • Upload ALL 3 sizes (112, 56, 28) and then click on 'Upload'
